Raya eve, Mama & Papa sempat buat last minute shopping @ OU. Punyalah ramai orang! Mama terserempak dgn Ikka & Co. Congrats, ye my dear.. Kak Ya lupa nak cakap sbb excited nak raya.
Kami balik ke Cheras pukul 6pm. Aktivitinya ialah main mercun... Syy... Takmo sapa2 tau! Hihihi... Selamat Beraya, yerr...!

Ucapan Selamat Hari Raya daripada Kami Sekeluarga

Tahun ni, sama aje dgn tahun2 yg lepas. Beraya di PJ & Cheras pada raya pertama dan raya kedua balik hari ke Negeri Sembilan (sebelah Papa) - Seremban, Rembau & Tampin berjumpa atuk2 & nenek2 sedara Nurin.
Mama & Papa takde la beriya2 sgt shopping baju raya. Beli kelengkapan rumah je dah sekian belanja nya... Kasut raya Nurin tahun lepas masih elok lagi. Cuma nak cari sandal comel jek sepasang lagi. Baju raya Nurin banyak jugak yg Mama beli masih belum dia pakai. Kumpul dari awal tahun lagi. Masa birthday hari tu ada yg berikan dia dresses. For her, dah lebih dari cukup la.
Kepada yg pulang beraya di kampung tu, mesti seronok kan? Especially malam raya... Bestnyerr! Dah lama dah tak merasa since Wan & Atuk Mama pergi (2002).
Akhir sekali, hati2 bila memandu, ye? Selamat bercuti! And most importantly, have fun!!!!

Nurin's Princess Party - full set
|

Date: 8 Sept. 2007 (Sat.)
Time: 4.30 – 7.00pm
Venue: Pink & White Castle, PJ
Theme: Pink n White Royal Ball.
Food served:
Sate, lasagna, spaghetti, roti jala, fried chicken, kuih-muih, cupcakes & ice cream
Party favors:
Girls n boys – Disney’s Coloring / Activity book with color pencils
Toddlers – Baby books
Ladies – HERESHEIS Chocolate Bars
I had so many things/activities in mind for this party, but if you are the one who is organizing it and hosting the party, it’s impossible to juggle these 2 tasks at once… So, banyak la activiti yg Mama nak buat tak kesampaian… Contohnya, arts n crafts, treasure hunt for the kids and also Princess n Pea Guessing Game for all guests (teka berapa kacang dlm bekas)… I cancelled those last minutes since I thought it’s better for me to greet, chit-chat with the guests as much with as possible. Bukannya senang nak jumpa lepas ni.
Tapi, Mama cukup puas hati sebab sempat siapkan Princesses Wall Mural for the mini ballroom. Yup, it’s printed on the A4 papers. 90+ pieces of them mounted on ‘mahjong papers’. Sakit pinggang Mama lepas terbongkok2 menampal kertas2 tu. Mama sempat belikan princess throne (inflatable chair n stool) dan a castle backdrop untuk “kids’ posing area” especially My Princess to pose with. Wan Nun tolong jahitkan 4 set persalinan Princesses; Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella & Tinkerbell. Mama pun ada sediakan “knight in shining Armour set” dan “pirate sword n eye patch” for the boys. Yang ni cousin2 Nurin la yg posing sakan memakainya lepas semua tetamu balik.

I put all the dress-up items (Princesses Dresses, tiaras etc.) on a rack and shelves. I put a mat with unicorns and castle motives in the center, a Disney Princess play hut at one corner for princes/princesses to play with and even caught one fast asleep.
Oleh kerana rumah kami kecik, terpaksalah sewa khemah in Pink n white! Mama suka helium balloons.. 30 pcs semuanya, collect sendiri dari Balloon Buzz. Tied some of them to the chairs outdoors, and left the rest floating around the ballroom. Bought carnations (pink n white) and made cute posies for the tables too. Princesses garlands hung everywhere plus a gazillion bubbles machine to create the fairy-tales-like ambiance…
Food highlight
I made carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and made fondant tiaras and ‘hearts’ as toppers. Those are my personal favorites ~ the only edible stuff according to the theme. Malas nak upah caterer sebab kalau setakat hi-tea, memang boleh buat sendiri. Lagipun, bibik2 ramai kat dapur tu. Lagipun, bila lagi nak jamu kawan2 dengan air tangan sendiri, ye dak?
Alhamdulillah, sebab banding dgn tahun lepas, party Nurin sedikit chaotic disebabkan hujan ribut. Tahun ni, redup2 je. Nampak nak hujan, tapi tak… Yay! Nurin pulak dah pandai bawak diri, ke mana-mana pun dengan 2 org kakak nye tu, Sarah dan Lisa.
Rasanya, cukup la dulu birthday party untuk Nurin. Dah 3 tahun berturut2 kami buat untuk dia. Next year, celebrate dgn kawan2 kat kindergarden aje la agaknya…

Under the Weather and Sneak Peak EOG is here!

It has been a tough week or rather more to 'weak' week to us really. First, Mama had diarrhea on 2nd day of puasa, then, Nurin started to have the same on Sunday and early this week, Papa had it... We did not blame it on the food, pasar Ramadhan etc, it's a type of virus spreading...
Of all we know, our loved ones in Kajang having it since yesterday (Irfan's family). This morning, once again, Mama brought Nurin for check-up at KJMC bcoz since last night she had tummy problem. 'Berderu-deru' keluar... The paed said she's fine, just that the virus went down from vomitting to pooping.
The problem is... She refuses to eat.. And it's really stressed me out! Help!!
On a lighter note, a long awaited EOG production is finally here..!!
Haven't get the full set as yet, but the sneak peek really said it all.. Mama, Papa even Nurin suke seme gambar2 Aunty Zubye!!! I am planning to come up with pages2 n pages of scrapbooks for this event & bind it into a 'photobook'. Off course, will share it here by year end.

Dinner Sebelum Menyambut Bulan Ramadhan

We had dinner at LasCarretas in Pusat Bandar Damansara at 10 Semantan to be exact. This is their 3rd outlet and the food was scrumptious as always. Majority are Mexican food, but they also have some Italians too..
Try the mushroom soup. Very nice ya know... The ribs is also a must try. But takle calen Planet Hollywood la 
Till then Selamat Berpuasa. I really hope i could do more solat terawikh this year
